Sean as an artist has captured the beauty and therapeutic nature of water better than anyone else. Some of his his pieces draw you into the dynamics and power of water. Other pieces foster a sense of tranquility that is hard to match. They they remind us that we are of water.

My wife and I first saw a couple of striking pieces of Sean’s work at a local restaurant in Wilmington, NC and later met him at his studio to see the broad range of his work. Sean is totally committed to helping people see what he sees through his art, namely the role that the ocean and aquatic wildlife play in our experience of coastal living. We ended up commissioning several pieces for our beach cottage. They are the perfect way to bring the ocean inside, from dynamic crashing waves to tranquil stillness. Now we can’t imagine our home without them.

As an artist and a surgeon I’ve been impressed with Sean’s natural talent and technical skill for many years. His unique brand of artwork is always eye catching and he has mastery in multiple media, although he would deny it. We have several different pieces in our home that bring back great feelings and experiences we have had as a family. Some of the work reminds us of our young lives in Hawaii raising three children to the tune of the sea. Others take me back personally to the peak of my life as a younger surfer and remind me of the long hold downs I learned to tolerate the hard way. We lived in Colorado after we left Hawaii and have pieces reminiscent of those times in Vail and the Eagle River in particular. We have found that we relate to Sean’s work and everyone can relate to water. It’s what makes us flow. Being surrounded by the tides makes us feel at home. One of the most striking attributes of the work is the personality and charisma of the artist himself. Sean is a real artist and loves working with people to find where their passions meet. Top accolades. No Ka Oi

Our Sea Turtle metal print from EDA not only gives us joy each time we relax in our screened-in porch, but also reminds of how important it is to be good stewards of our environment and ocean.
